ROAD TO THE BEACHES

 OVERVIEW  -  PHOTOS  -  RESOURCES

Expect sheltered coves, white sandy beaches and sparkling waters in communities all along this route, which runs from Glovertown across the Eastport Peninsula, encompassing parts of Terra Nova National Park. Connected by causeways and bridges, many of these communities retain the traditional character, architecture and hospitality of generations past. In some cases, centuries old footpaths carved through the hills still link neighbouring settlements, offering easy access to unspoiled wilderness.
