This site offers an overview of film locations, resources and opportunities in and around Gander.

Over the last number of years, the film industry in Newfoundland and Labrador has enjoyed buoyant growth through such productions as Misery Harbour, The Shipping News, Random Passage and Rare Birds.

This office is commissioned to generate positive economic impact by promoting Gander, and the Kittiwake Coast as a region, in the international film and television marketplace. We operate under the Economic Development Department of the Town of Gander, and strive to attract and build the film industry, and to entice film producers through infrastructure development, strategic partnering, marketing and promotion. We are a customer driven team, dedicated to providing accurate, efficient, and professional service.
