Lost Flight of the Eagle

A one-hour television documentary currently in production chronicles the 1945 crash of a B-24 Liberator near Gander and the modern archeological survey of the site, ultimately revealing a top secret cargo that might have hastened the end of the war.

Gander and the Kittiwake Coast are located in Central Newfoundland (Click here for map) Canada's most easterly province. Getting here is easy. The Town of Gander is located directly on the Trans Canada Highway (TCH) and is home to a major international airport. The region is also served by a deep water seaport at Lewisporte, 60 km northwest of Gander.

From the service hub of Gander, production crews can easily access the many spectacular locations found throughout this region.
